Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a family thrill roller coaster manufactured by Vekoma. It is located in EPCOT at Disney World. Cosmic Rewind is a highly themed and immersive, fully indoor experience located in the World Discovery section of the park. While this ride has no inversions, or moments where you are upside down, it features a 0-60 mph backwards launch at the start of the ride. The cars have controlled spinning, where they are programmed to face towards certain screens and set pieces during the ride. The cars are also all programmed with one of six different songs from the 70s and 80s, making each ride a different experience.
Cosmic Rewind is one of the most popular rides on property, often having wait times of around 2-3 hours during the day. Due to this, I highly recommend purchasing a lightning lane in advance to ensure that you can get on this attraction. I also recommend asking a cast member to put you in row 9. Because the launch is backwards, the cars actually rotate so the train can face that way. This means that during the launch, the ninth row is actually in the front.
